Silver, Bronze, and a Big Smile: Our First Ever Outstanding Food Producer Awards!
This year we decided to do something we’ve never managed to do before: enter our products in the Outstanding Food Producer Awards. Between markets, roasting, caramelising, packing, and deliveries, we’d never quite found the time. But this year we made it happen, and we’re very glad we did.
We’re thrilled to share that our Roasted Caramelised Hazelnuts won Silver, while our Caramelised Almonds and Caramelised Cashews both took home Bronze. For our very first time entering, we couldn’t be happier with the results.

These awards recognise the very best of Aotearoa’s food and drink producers: people who care deeply about quality, sustainability, and flavour. The judging process is rigorous, involving some of New Zealand’s most respected food experts. To have our products recognised among so many incredible entries from around the country is truly special.
It’s also been great to see Nelson shining bright once again, with local producers bringing home a generous haul of awards. We’ve always known our region punches well above its weight when it comes to food, and it’s nice to see that recognised on a national stage. We even received a lovely handwritten card from our local mayor congratulating us, which really made our day.
A huge thanks to the team behind the Outstanding Food Producer Awards and to dish magazine, the new media partner helping to showcase New Zealand’s most delicious products and the people who make them.
We’re feeling inspired to keep raising the bar, experimenting with new flavours, and continuing to share the joy of great food made with care right here in Nelson.
